A great WordPress.com site

Serve the Lord in rest!

To have a life full of grace, favor and peace! Grace and peace wholeness be multiplied unto us through the Lord. Beholding Jesus!! Not doing.

Something happen when we look at Jesus.

Holy spirit transform us from glory to glory!

God’s love for us is not general, is individual!

John 12:26
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Are u serving because of other reasons? Doing for self, pride or vain glory?

The Lord said if anyone serves Me, My Father will honor.

Filled with the spirit, we serve and pour out to and we will not be frustrated. We GET TO serve Him. When we serve Him, our time are multiplied to us.

God sent His Son, knowing one gospel book alone is not enough.

Jesus portrayed in 4 different books-

-Son of God-Eagle

Every leaders should have these 4 faces!

Learn how to come down.

Learn when to come down, and be with family.

The Lord has 4 faces and He wants us to be transformed in these 4 faces.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

No work for the Lord is futile unfruitful empty or vain. There will be some rewards.

Steadfast from the greek word is to be relaxed and settled.

The way we get saved is to receive the finished work and we sit down.

Our lives is a life of relax and be cool!

Abounding in the work of the Lord-is quality and quantity!

Our works is not in vain.

Gospel of Mark is the gospel of divine Servant.

Philippians 2:5-8
The Humbled and Exalted Christ
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

God wants to exalt us and He don’t us to exalt ourselves. If we exalt ourselves, we have to maintain ourselves. But when God exalt us, no one can bring us down.

Mark was written to Gentiles, not Jews.
There is no jewish law in Mark.

In the gospel of Mark we have 3 times more miracles than parables.

Jesus came not just with grace but with power!!
He came not just to be served but to serve! It is the Lord serves us until we are so full…in His most tired form..Jesus was refreshed when He gave.

Steadfast – immovable!

In Matthew, we have 3 times more parables than miracles.

Eutheos – immediately, straight away.

Mark 1:20
And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.

A lot of ‘immediately ‘ in the gospel of Mark! 11 times in Chapter 1 in Mark!!

Chapter 1 in Mark has 45 verses. Out of 45 verses, 35 out of it he used the word begin with And..

It is about divine Servant of Yahweh. He is always abounding in the work of the Lord! With all the glory an power, He used it to serve us, to heal us and to set us free!!

Mark 1:43
And He strictly warned him and sent him away at once,

Mark 1:1-4
John the Baptist Prepares the Way
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the Prophets:
“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.”
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight. ’”
John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Prepare the way for Yahweh.

Only children of God can use the name of Jesus 🙂

Jesus served with power over the visible and invisible world!

Learn the principle of serving and humanity.

Power belongs to the servant’s heart.

Mark 1:3-4
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight. ’”
John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Words come first than voice. Jesus is the Word made fresh. John gave voice to the Word that was before him. John pointed people to Jesus.

True ministry always bring people to Christ and bring Christ to the people.

John 1:10-11
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

Heaven opens to Jesus! God opened to Jesus before He created any miracles. It was at the lowest place in Israel.

The highest to the lowest, the Father said Jesus is His beloved Son.

God approved of us before we serve Him!

Submission is when we are smarter yet we give in.

Jesus increased in favour after He submitted to His mother.

The love of God is beyond religion, is relationship!

Mark 1:10-11
And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Descending upon Him like a dove-anointed by the spirit.

His ministry is healing the broken hearted.

7 As
1. Announced by the forerunner
2. Approved by the Father
3. Anointed by the Spirit
4. Assailed by the devil
5. Acknowledge by the wild beasts
6. Attended to by angels.
7. Acclaimed by the multitudes

God delights to hear our voice. Be it broken or out of tune. Is from the one He loves!!

TWA – Travelling With Angels

Mark 1:32-34
At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon- possessed. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

Everything else knew who He was, but man were blinded.

Our Lord serves with grace and power!!

Mark 1:12
Satan Tempts Jesus
Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.

Mark 1:13
And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.

Even the wild beasts were together with Jesus. They acknowledge Him. Jesus had dominion over the wild beasts.
Angels ministered to Him

John Mark is the one who wrote the gospel of Mark.

God chose the servant who failed to write about the Servant who never failed. Mark failed. God restored Mark later on.

Look to Jesus and we will be conformed by the Holy Spirit.

2 usages of the word “tempt”
1. Tempted to sin

Jesus cannot be tempted to sin. Jesus was never tempted to sin. He was tempted not pertaining to sin! He was tested!!

Jesus is pure gold!! He was drove into the wilderness by the Spirit. He was tested in all points yet not pertaining to sin!

Jesus came into our darkness.
1st chapter of Mark, ends with sunset
Last chapter of Mark, there is a sunrise

Jesus came to all our darkness to serve and to bring the light of His grace glory and power!!

Mark 16:19-20
Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

He is still working even when He is in heaven. He work WITH us, not apart from!

Jesus did not come to be served. He came to serve!!

This message is for those who are Steadfast, steady, unmovable and restful!
